sennen maintained there top of div 2 status by beating a hard fought game over halsetown,who came in with decent wins over chasewater and t.m.s,over their last two encounters..

aaron jenkin put sennen ahead,after a fine shot was parried out by the keeper,for aaron to score from close range. halsetown though did not sit back and had they had their shooting boots on and not missed two/three clear chances,the scoreline could have been different.though sennen were not playing as well as they could they lead at hal-time1-0.

the second half was a evenly contested affair,but the game was halted midway through,after ollie george sustained a nasty collision,which left him being sent to hospital..( news came in he had a break in his foot )

sennen shuffled around,and settled back down,nerves where finally settled when aaron jenkin scored his second goal,as he was put clear and shot passed the keeper..( who played very well through the game)

paul jackson wrapped it up after a fine move,ended with paul slotting it pass the keeper..

all in all,a good result....junior cup next week....see how we do.. :yahoo:
