Well i watched Perranwell defeat Perranporth 4-1 away this evening and it was a little nervy to say the least!

1-1 at the interval and on a hard bumpy pitch ( as end of seasons games are always on ) and with so much to play for it was good to come away with the 3 points! goals from S. Brewer,S.Kinge,J.Blundell and M.Taylor for Perranwell and A.Arquati???? (who was red carded after) for Perranporth. So a point at Bickland park unless Helston put 10 without reply at Aggie will see Dave Fishers boys finish runners up!

Not bad for a villlage side who play on the (best ground in the County!!) .

Next season the pitch sprinklers will be in place as we play much better football when the pitch is a tad softer!!

And Mr Fishers staff!! Vinny Jones and Frank the hitman Gardner must also be congratulated for all the effort that they have put in too!

Sam Mead and Brian the lino and not forgetting the old bird who does the teas!! Can't remember her name!! Oh yes it's come to me Mrs Kemp!!

And most of all to all the players who give their all (for nothing!) :yahoo:
