Lostwithial vs Gsm 13th jan

After disappointing result the previous week. Gsm we’re focused on putting in a better performance against a team who were a position higher in the league. Both teams went at earlier doors with lostwithial asking some questions with the lostwithial no 7 and gsm Charlie Andrews competing strongly against each other in the air in the mid of the pitch. Gsm had a couple of goalmouth scrambles and a couple of chances were either good saves or efforts that went just wide. Lostwithial chances blocked or broke down within the box. Gsm went ahead when the keeper cleared from outside the box and Ethan gately from about 40yards struck cracking shot that flew in. Losty equalised when a dropped catch and and losty no7 quickest to react 1-1 half time.

2nd half gsm came out and showed good character to go at lostwithial. 2goals from Jase busby ,one a volley that lobbed the keeper after a good ball. Lostwithial subbed there no7 who was strong in the air , immediately Gsm had a corner that Aaron moyses picked out jack cawrse who headed it back into the danger area where Steve Floyd norris rose and put us 4-1 up. Lostwithial heads dropped a little and Jase busby completed his hat trick with a cracking effort. 
mom Sam ward. On a heavy pitch was brave to get on the ball and used it well to create opportunities for others and lucky not to score but by all accounts he was offside. Reffed well by Nigel painter 

only disappointing thing to note was dry January with the normally thirsty gsm boys drinking lime sodas! Embarrassing not me tho 😜
