NOT EXACTLY THE MOST GLAMEROUS SEMI FINALS EVER,DONT HAVE EM AT WEMBLEY,GOING ON THE AVERAGE SUPPORT OF THE TEAMS HAVE THEM HERE.

ONE SEMI COULD BE AT HEREFORD,CARDIFF V WEST BROM.

THE OTHER AT LUTON,BARNSLEY V POMPEY.

FINAL AT CARLISLE, CARDIFF V POMPEY.

AND PUT A GOOD WESTERN ON THE BEEB THAT SATURDAY AFTERNOON :clapper: EH FOLKS.

Maybe not the most glamorous teams in the semi-finals but surely good for the competition and the game in general! Thats the romance of the Cup!

In my opinion, the Wembley experience should be saved for the final, not just for the players but for the fans and audience also (whether they be in the crowd on watching on television). There are plenty of large stadiums country wide (Old Trafford, Anfield, Villa Park, Emirates, Millenium Stadium etc...) that can be used as nuetral venues, why do they have to use Wembley for the semis?

Its not a massive deal i guess but surely it would be nicer for the big venue for the big game!? :c:

It all boils down to cold, hard cash for our lovely governing body, the FA.

In order to help pay for our national stadium that went so hideously over budget, the FA will stage as many events at the stadium as possible, in order to retrieve some money on their investment.

This is why we get American Football ruining the pitch just before England play Croatia in a deciding World Cup qualifier, a temporary motor sports track installed for a pointless 'Champions of Motorsports' weekend and FA Cup semi finals being played at Wembley, when it blatantly takes a little bit of prestige away from the actual Final.

Unfortunately this is the football world we find ourselves involved with, where 000's in the bank mean more than a little romance or tradition, and it's a poorer football world because of it!!
