Guest kern_dogg
Watched the game at Kimberly yesterday, a scrappy affair but Saltash ran out deserved winners. Goals from Mark Chapman (2), Marc Thorne and Koran Whitfield. Ivybridge threatened on occasions but were thwarted by 2 good saves from Chris Wearing in the Saltash goal and a great block on the edge of the 6 yard box in the 2nd half. The ashes always appeared to have more gears if required. Will be an interesting run-in with them still having to play Falmouth twice, Parkway twice, Torpoint twice and Bodmin away. Can they do it? Guest
If Simpson can stay fit I see no reason why Saltash cannot go all the way. He is the one who pulls all the strings in the midfield. Without him the team tends to lose its way.
