The Governor
To celebrate the new improvements to Lantoom Park Dobwalls entertained Truro City who are the highest ranked Cornish club in the pyramid system. For the first time in their hundred year plus history the village club were able to host a game under floodlights. The decent size crowd despite having to be moved from Wednesday because of the England game were well entertained. The gulf in quality showed as the visitors romped into a 5-0 lead at the break. The second half belonged to the hosts who scored 3 and only conceded 1. Dobwalls have come a long way in the last few years and their hard working committee and management team should be congratulated for their dedication to the club. I believe there are further friendlies against Plymouth Parkway and Tavistock to come before the season Kicks off. Best of luck to both clubs for the coming campaign.
