Hayle vet v St Agnes played at Goonhavern

Recommended Posts

Hayle vintage brew 5-1 St Agnes

Hayle goals by Rappo 3 Steve Winters 1 Simon Bendal 1

Another good performance by brew going 3 up in the first half 2 from deadly Rappo one a penalty the other when his blistering pace took him on to a through ball clinicly finnished by the leagues top goal scorrer (must be watching Celtic he gets inspiration) the other was a chip over the keeper from an acute angle by Steve Winters 3-0 at halftime.

The second half St Agnes started well and caused us some problems Kev Atkins playing well down the left when John Mathews wasnt chewing his ankles like a ferret after a rabbit John was at his annoying best today not letting any Aggie players settle on the ball and covering every blade of grass on the pitch (annoying for opposition that is) Shaun Quinn miss-timed a header back to our keeper that let the Aggie player in to give them a lifeline back in the game but it also gave us the preverbial kick up the backside we needed and a great run down the right wing by Lee Norman who was also in good form today and causing Aggie problems every time he had the ball he beat 2 defenders pulled it back to that man Rappo was there again to notch up another hat-trick how many is that this season mate? we got control of the game again and Simon Bendal finnished it off with a 25 yarder into the bottom corner of the net 5-1 it ended.

The game was switched to Goonhavern as Hayle pitches were unplayable due to recent bad weather, thanks to Goonhavern for that from all at Hayle.

Just to finnish this report Dougie tells me we are the only team in the county still with a %100 record, and we cant be cought by anyone now we are league champs well done lads. :c::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink::drink:
