Pensilva Reserves 4-2 Saltash United 4ths (H/T 1-2)

Pensilva Reserves turned the game on it's head by coming back from 0-2 down to win 4-2 in a niggly game.

Saltash were quick out of the blocks and were two up inside the first four minutes. The first goal saw the ball come back off the post and hit a home defender in the face before entering the net.

Pensilva pulled a goal back in the 39th minute with a header from close range.

Playing down the slope in the second half the equaliser seemed inevitable and it came in the 69th minute.

The home side had the wind in their sails and took the lead in bizarre circumstances in the 75th minute. With the ball going out of play near the goalpost, a visiting defender prevented the ball crossing the line and in an attempt to clear, the ball come off the goalkeeper's foot and entered the net.

Four minutes later a sweet lob saw the home side increase their lead to two goals.

In injury time at the end of the game, the visiting keeper went up for a corner and saw his effort cleared off the line.

It was a niggly game with some wild tackles and the referee giving some strange decisions and it seemed as though he was bullied or pressured into making them. Pensilva saw the game out with ten men so presumably they had a player sent off, according to the language coming from the stand. It's a shame that the referee and the Saltash linesman were subject to that kind of abuse when they were only trying to act out their task. Yes not every decision will be correct but I wish players would just accept them
