Julian Chenery Posted February 22, 2016 Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 Former & current Saltash football players and officials are invited to attend a reunion night at the Saltash Social Club on Friday, 10th June 2016, starting at 7.00pm. The invitation is open to anyone who has played or been involved with any of the local teams - Saltash United, St Stephens Borough & Real Saltash - or any of the now defunct teams for example Burraton, Landrake, Saltash Town, Saltash WMC etc. It is also open to the junior sides in Saltash, Saltash United Juniors and Saltash Youth. Locally based match officials are also welcome to attend, Entertainment will be provided by the group "The Mets" who feature on drums former St Stephens Borough goalkeeper and current referee Simon Robbins on drums. The event is raising money for vital equipment for Huntington’s disease research at Plymouth University & to raise awareness of the disease. Tickets are priced at £5.00 and are available from Saltash Social Club or by contacting Julian Chenery on 07450 005410, e mail julian.chenery@hotmail.com. As the reunion falls on Julian's annual "Wear A Sports Shirt" charity day those attending are asked if possible to wear a sports shirt although this is strictly optional.
