Guest
As I travel to as many different grounds this season, I had a thought and wondered which grounds/clubs lose the most balls. In days of old due to their close proximity to the sea/river, Flushing and Mylor would probably be up there. At a quick guess, I would imagine Calstock would be quite high up unless they have a river person who collects them from the river.
JacobEnglefield
I can imagine Wendron (Reserve Pitch) and Gwinear regualrly lose balls. It all depends on how far players can be bothered to punt the ball out of play. I'm sure there are many more teams that have the same problem too. addick1
We at Newlyn Lions, playing at the Coombe certainly have that problem and i'm sure Mousehole 3rds who we share the pitch with will also be in the same boat. Costs a bloody fortune.
JacobEnglefield
Feel sorry for clubs in these situations. Running a football club can be expensive enough, losing a lot of balls on top of that is something you don't want to happen.
Roger Martin
If you lose a decent match ball, that's got to be between £20 and £30, when I ran a Saturday team in Plymouth, I lost four Mitre Max match balls in one season at £35 a time, not cheap.
