Duchy Fixtures update

Fixtures for August and September will be online later in the week. The October fixtures will be released once the first round matches for this seasons Junior Cup have been released (Junior Cup first round matches are scheduled for 11th October). The fixtures will be published 2 months at a time throughout the season so we can account for sides who have been knocked out of the cup competitions. Also with a possible referee shortage it will allow for matches to be rescheduled rather than having a backlog at the end of the season.

With just 12 teams in each division I felt that the 16th August start date and midweek August fixtures should only apply to those teams who had issues hosting home matches last season or share a pitch with another team/teams in order to get some home games out of the way while their pitches are available and playable.

The majority of teams will start late August / the start of September.

The 1st round of the Duchy Cups will take place on 27th September. Some home clubs will play their matches slightly earlier / later due to their pitch being unavailable on 27th September. The second round of the Duchy Cups will take place on Saturday 15th November.

We will look to complete the first half of the season by the end of December, meaning all teams should not face their opponents for a second time until 2015.
