Guest Postie Pidge
Listening to Radio Cornwall on the way back from Witheridge, how many times did Dave Leonard say "you know"? It was hilarious and although we missed a bit of the interview through bad reception, anyone who listens to it again will need an abacus. I reckon it was over 20.

Ian Roberts
It's a good word filler, correction, it's a bad word filler. Mind you, I wouldn't want to be interviewed on the radio. Come to think of it, never likely to. Have you ever heard the Redruth Rugby Club coach Nigel Hambly ever talk on the radio? Even his own club members have had bets on how many times he'll say it. Guest meady
Robin Turner or Phil Western are ones for doing radio interviews. They got it of a treat for the Pirates
Guest Luffy
Saying that if you listen to the professionals getting interviewed they use the phase you know just as much especially if they come from the South around the Capital, it seems to be a stock phase for the smoke. Dave Leonard can be forgiven for his over use it must be quite hard to give an interview and make sure that your english is always 100 percent correct and that you are able to phrase everything you want to say correctly. Ian Roberts
Of course, of national prominence, David Beckham was very much a "you know" until he took elocution lessons.
