Cash or Cheque only ?

If like me, you have worries over companies going bust, travel agents, furniture stores etc, you will probably pay by credit card so that if the company goes tits up, you can get your money back from the card company.

Unfortunately, Truro City fans have no such protection when they come to buying a season ticket for 2012/13... taken directly from the TCFC website. And just who are the cheques payable to ?

SEASON-TICKETS

£200 (adults)

£125 (senior citizens)

£50 (juniors aged 12-16)

Season-tickets entitle you to a seat at every home League game during the season.

Season-tickets can be purchased through the post by sending a cheque for the correct amount, details of which type(s) of season-ticket your require plus a stamp-addressed-envelope, to: Ticket Applications, 31 Lemon Street, Truro, Cornwall TR1 2LS.

Alternatively, please call Shaun Lawrence on 01872-278000 or email shaunlawrence@cornishpropertiesltd.com to arrange to pay by cash in person.

This was a mistake on the website which has now been amended.

The club has never taken card payments. If, in the future we have enough people wanting to pay by card, then we may well facilitate this somehow but for now we will continue as is.
