Duty281 Posted January 8, 2012 Report Share Posted January 8, 2012 Truro made a difficult trip to 2nd placed Welling yesterday with only 13 players in total. It's been like that for around a month now and tiredness finally took it's toll yesterday. 1-0 to Welling at HT quickly became 5-0 by the 75th. Super Scotty Walker added a consolation from the spot to take his tally to 11 for the season and the joint 4th highest scorer in the league - not bad for a Left Back! The league situation is now: 28 points off top, 11 points off the play-offs and 10 points off relegation otherwise known as 11th in the league, a superb effort so far given the off the field circumstances and it's our debut in the BSS. Next Saturday Truro are home to Chelmsford, a team Truro beat 1-0 on the first day of the season, and the last before the tax bill has to be paid.
