generaldogsbody Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 It is with regret that St.Dominick announce the passing of Club stalwart,Michael(Mick)Downing,who died yesterday at the age of 82 after a short illness. Mick was a hard working committee member for many years and was still putting up the nets on Match days in his eightieth year and hardly missed a home match.Two years ago he was given a long sevice award by the CCFA. In his early days, Mick played for Saltash United and also for Cornwall.He will be sadly missed and the Football Club send condolences to his family.
