Guest Uncle Albert
Friday evening pre-season football: Bodmin Town 1 Neath 3 Welsh Premier League side Neath fought back from 1-0 down to earn victory at Priory Park tonight. After a goalless first half, Bodmin took a 51st minute lead through substitute Chris Luxton after Craig Swiggs had intercepted a poor backpass to the goalkeeper. But it took Neath only a minute to equalise with a smart finish from Lee Trundle, the former Swansea City and Bristol City striker. A mistake by Bodmin keeper Tom Vercoe led to Neath's second goal, and the visitors ensured victory late on with a third goal. Among the crowd was new Buckland manager Steve Massey, taking a look at Bodmin before the charity match a week on Sunday.
