Great day out at Wendron. Shortlanesend started out looking like they really wanted to win Astro seemed to lost belief in themselves.

Slend took the lead after 10 minutes with a fine goal and continued to dominate but failed to capitalise on it. One excellent effort from Astro brought a great save from the Slend keeper.

Just before half time Astro, starting to get into the game, equalised.

Second half saw Astro start to boss the game, taking the lead with a chip that the keeper could only watch as dirfted into the far corner.

Final goal from a penalty. The Astro attacker rounded the keeper and then had his foot held. The only question was whether the keeper should have left the field. Emphatic penalty sealed the game and Astro ran out the winners.
