Bodmin Town 1, Wadebridge Town 1aet. Bodmin won 8-7 on penalties.

A great local derby with both teams giving everything over the 120 minutes. Bodmin took the lead in stoppage time at the end of the first half. Wadebridger had the better of the second half and got a deserved equaliser in the 95th minute to take the game to extra time. Wadebridge looked the more likely to win it in extra time, but failed to capitalise on their possession. A great display of penalty taking resulted in Bodmin winning by the odd pen when it went to sudden death.

We are proud of the way the Wadebridge boys played tonight and hopefully we'll take this form into the rest of season.

On a sad note, Alex Ahearn the Bodmin left back was taken to hospital after he fell awkwardly damaging his knee. All the best from Wadebridge Town FC, we hope you make a speedy recovery.
