The Villains
As reported in the Evening Herald Anniss suffers serious injury in Bridgers' win. Wishing Ben Anniss (Ivybridge) all the best in returning to full fitness after he broke his fibula and tibia in three places which will require an operation to insert pins and bolts into the bones. Guest Peppermint
I would like to echo the best wishes of Mr Chairman - we at Newquay Football Club send best wishes to Ben for a speedy recovery. I am sure Ben and Ivybridge Football Club will take heart from the story of one of our players - Aaron Bicknell. Aaron, a very talented player, who was a key member of our First Team Squad but unfortunately suffered a bad break to his leg on Good Friday but he is now back taking part in light training and hopes to be back in action early in the new year. I hope that example will be inspirational for Ben.
