I know some of you have seen this, but we need to break this record and the details have now changed - Thank you for your support...

REDRUTH RUGBY CLUB, THURSDAY 27th AUGUST, 7pm

Kernow4 and Redruth Rugby Club aim for New World Record....“the largest gathering of men and women in their pants”

After realising that they were never going to break a world record in the New York Marathon, four Cornish runners, Jamie Reed, Tania Stait, Andy Holmes and Steve Burley, the Kernow4, are aiming for a world record of a different kind... “The world’s largest gathering of men and women in their pants”.

The team are taking part in the ING New York City Marathon on the 1st of November, but wanted to put Macmillan Cancer Support in the Guinness Book of World Records, on the way.

Organiser Tania Stait, who is one of the runners, says “this is one of the most unusual Guinness World Records, but it will be great to see so many men stripping off for such a good cause and of course helping with our fundraising”.

Part of the teams fundraising goes toward local skin Cancer nurse, Jo Pope and she’ll be in attendance on the evening if any participants have queries or need advice on skin conditions or protection from the sun.

The event will take place at Redruth rugby club at 7pm on Thursday August 27.
