Why wear comfortable, adult shorts in red when you can wear 80's style Nike short-shorts in white?! Not only did they remind me of years gone by, they also looked like the shorts from years gone by!!

Newquay 7 - 2 Cubert/Holywell (11/08/09).

Thanks to the lads from Cubert/Holywell for getting a team together at short notice, they are in the process of rebuilding and have a very young side (with the exception of Netty, who is twice the age of most but still giving his all). Best of luck to the lads for the forthcoming season, it will take time but I am sure it will come together.

Newquay were slow to get going and found some momentum towards the end of the half, it was 4-1 at half-time.

I was really pleased to get 20 minutes at the end having missed the majority of pre-season with an injury.
