Hayle combo 5 - 1 Carbis Bay utd

Cabis Bay turned up short today as game was taken at late notice, so would like to thank the two Hayle players that made up our team, dean and dan, cheers boys.

It was a good game and i dont feel the score line reflects the game, not taking anything awayfrom Hayle as they were the stronger team and deserved to win.

The first 30 mins was very even with CBU squandering a few easy chances wich would have put them in the lead, however Hayle countered both times and scored twice in quick succession. CBU kept battleing and pulled a goal back straight away to make it 2-1, looked as that would have been th h/t score but Hayle finished the last 5min strong, were awarded a freekick 20 yrds out wich was smashed home 3-1 and the 4 followed as a few CBU heads dropped. 4-1 h/t.

Second half was played at the same quick tempo as the first with nice football played from both teams, Hayle defo the fitter team started to stretch CBU and the 5th came. The last 20 was hard work, and CBU managed to keep te score to 5-1. A good game in all well refd, always a pleasure to play on a nice pitch against a decent team. Cheers boys, best of luck

thankyou cerbis bay for filling in for us at such short notice. the score did'nt reflect the match. you put up a damn contest. good to see a team that seem to be enjoying their footy.
