Polperro AFC ECPL Changes

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Paddy Cotton for all he has done for the club over the past two seasons. His vast experience on and off the field made the step up to Senior football 2 seasons ago much more comfortable than expected and the younger players of the squad have gained much knowledge from him.

I personally wish Paddy all the best in the future and having spoke to him he too wishes the same for the fortunes of Polperro AFC.

The decision was taken by the club that a more local manager was required to aid fundraisng events to help with the finances of Polperro AFC as this became a problem with the current economic climate.

Therefore, after consideration, Polperro welcome back Simon Fisher as Manager (not playing this time!!) with his brother Stuart and Chris Goldthorpe as his assistants. Changes have also been made in the playing staff with a number of new signings.

Polperro also welcome back Richard See as linesman for the forthcoming season, after the club had a few problems with the position last term.

Again, thanks to Paddy and looking forward to the new season.

P.s. I think Elburton Villa will win the league, class act last year.
