  2. James good luck with your next challenge it’s a shame a few more havent wished you well on here you have done a fantastic job at Utd & always had a competitive team there it’s a shame the 1 st team have not been as competitive as your side over the last few seasons maybe new managers will install a new fresh start for all concerned. Needless to say James wherever you go you where your heart on your sleeve with plenty of passion & I for one wish you good luck a lot of local clubs could do with a fella like you . Well done at Redruth Utd certainly a manager who will be leaving with his head held high 👏👏
  3. Aside of the Cornish Daves bitterness Dave , two lads live in Redruth & the other in Porthleven, other reasons work wise behind why one can’t stay at previous club but no ones business. Post was put up to celebrate St Day s success yet so many bitter jealous people , some sad ones out there .

  10. As I said he told me I did not witness whether he did or did not do anything about it .
  11. Oh I never heard it the Referee told me I only ever speak the truth sometimes it’s a little hard for some to take . Glad I entertained you 😊👍
  12. Perranwell 0-1 St Day Well arrived at a sunlit pitch at Tregye & won’t write much as the first person I see is me old mate Rappo who will no doubt do a write up on this not sure what kind of a write up as it wasn’t the greatest of games . St Days winner coming in I believe the 98th minute . Keeper certainly kept Perran in the game in the first half just a shame he took so long to get the game going again the tactics nearly worked although had he not wasted time there wouldn’t of been 8 added at the end . Main reason for the post aside of the result I thought the Ref was very good Andrew Barnett I believe I could be wrong anyway well done to him a shame at the end he was called a f—-ing cheat by Fisher .
  13. St Day 4 -0 Mullion Aside of a couple of heavy showers this one was cold but pleasant in the limited sunshine. St Day predominantly controlled the match for 90 mins but Mullion had plenty of fighting spirit throughout the team & of course the ever youthful Paul Williams in goal who for some reason kept asking me how long was left not due to the constant bombardment of his goal , I think he was just cold it happens at pensioner age 🤣the first time was after 4 mins 🤣🤣( me exaggerating never ) Onto the game & as I said Mullion battled very well small parts of a passing game from them at times looked good , big centre half controlled for the best parts of his back line , at half time though a 1-0 score line for the Saints a Dan Richards goal was all that separated the two teams . Second half brought more from St Day & they were putting Mullion back under pressure time & time again with some good saves from Willo . Corner after corner was putting pressure on Mullion however it was a keepers kick out from Steve PB that the big centre half should of kicked through but completely missed , which left Dan Richards through on goal & he hit a lovely strike for 2-0 . The corners continued to arrive in the box & Kyle Marks got a goal mouth scramble goal for 3-0 deserved after another decent display from him all game ( I’m not biased 😳) Subs galore for St Day brought another goal for 4-0 & to be fair Saints thoroughly deserved their win but I heard the Mullion manager at the final whistle say “ i take that “ & he was pretty happy with his guys who worked really hard for him throughout . On to Tuesday night at Penryn let’s hope the Saints can play for 90 mins down there after the last game. Pitch at Vogue looking exceptionally good again & the reserves played alongside the 1st team apologies for not knowing the score but Culdrose were celebrating a couple of times .
  14. St Day 2-2 Porthleven Fair result in the end Port definitely edged the first half with the wind slightly in there favour , thought considering the conditions of the pitch which also had an under 14s game played earlier on it just how good it held up excellent job by the ground staff. Port probably, no definitely unlucky not to be leading by a goal at half time but 0-0 it was . Second half started brightly enough for the Saints who scored from a decent corner for a flick on for Sam Buckley ( I swear I heard him say feed the bear 🐻 and I will score 🤣🤣) Bear he’s more of a stick insect 🐜 🤣🤣 Goal for Sam all the same though St Day 1-0 Port should of dropped there heads shouldn’t they 😳 St Day league leaders unbeaten , not a chance with Port straight out the blocks & still threatening St Days goal they not only deserved the equaliser they then went in front & with 10 or so left St Day for the first time looked a little vulnerable. A nice shot made a great save from the Port keeper with maybe 5 mins left & the resulting corner very well placed again resulted in Saints equaliser & I personally think a draw in the end was a fair result . Not sure when Port last played but Saints needed to play after a 4-5 weeks absence & it showed . Two games with Porthleven two 2-2 draws & on both occasions about the right result . In my opinion Port definitely got some quality younger players in that team & id like to see them finish the season well.
  15. Just looked to see Helston & Mullion also won 5-1 today three teams in this league played today all with 5-1 wins 🧐
  16. St Just 1 St Day 5 Well arrived in the uncertainty of game on or off not to do with St Just not sure the Ref knew what to do to be honest then made the decision it’s game on . Decent match in pouring rain for 60 mins of it at various times throughout the game . St Day had so many chances to finish this game off in the first half but time after time difficult conditions played havoc with the final ball or the one slightly before . However by half time they were 0-2 up but I knew the hard half was to come . Rightly so St Just came out in the second half with a hard fought battling performance & for 15 mins I think they almost edged it as the better team at times . Not sure about the times but with probably 20 mins or so to go a St Just player hit a worldie of a strike & it was game on. 1-2 To be fair to St Day they struck back pretty quickly & this deflated St Just 1-3 Then it was one way traffic for the last 15 mins where St Day added two more for a final score of 1-5 . A deserved win but a battling St Just performance & no surprise up until today they were unbeaten at home . Bumped into Rodney down there who naturally thought the conditions were perfect 🤣😊
