  1. Troon v Redruth is at Cornwall College with a 4pm ko I believe.
  2. Storm 3-4 Troon A big win for the lads which continues our recent run of good form. Playing with the wind behind us first half both teams had chances to score but a combination of poor finishing and good goalkeeping meant we went in at half time 1-0 up courtesy of a Reegan Harris goal against his former club. Storm came out 2nd half looking determined and with the wind behind them took full advantage and got into a 3-1 lead deservedly and were playing some good football. A couple of substitutions and a change of formation seemed to get us stepping up a gear and we pulled 2 goals back to make it 3-3 and Storm looked nervous. We then got a free kick and it was slotted away to make it 4-3 to us and a big 3 points against a Storm team who have been much improved this season. Thanks for the food back at the pub. We play Storm again in the reverse fixture this Saturday.
  3. Troon Res 4-1 Constantine Res The sun was shining on a decent afternoon at Grouter Park. Having drawn with the league leaders the week before we needed to follow up with another positive result. Several regulars missing but with the help of several U18’s we got a squad together. Scrappy first half but we got an early goal which settled us and then grabbed another to put us 2-0 up at half time. 2nd half was better and we got a 3rd well worked goal before Constantine pulled one back but we managed to kill the game off with a good 4th goal. Ended the game with 5 under 18’s playing and 3 of them scoring which was most pleasing. 2 tough games back to back against Storm over the next 2 weeks now.
  4. Troon Res 1-1 Penryn Res A hard fought and well earned point against the league leaders at a windy Grouter Park. Good luck to Penryn in their quest to win the league which they should with the squad they have. A mention to the young referee who in only his 2nd mens game performed very well and was decisive with his whistle blowing.
  5. Probus don’t have a game next week according to a thread I’ve just read. They might be interested?
