mullion missed a golden chance after 15 mins and one cleared off the line but apart from that trispen scored on the stroke of half time then playing with a strong breeze at their backs scored twice and had two cleared off mullions goal line the 2nd an amazing clearence from mullions blonde lad in midfield with both teams having players missing seem to effect mullion more than trispen even thougth trispen replaced a injured player with a injured sub.think rob was disapointed that mullion couldnt respond after the 2nd goal and lost their way 2nd half.

MULLION (0)0

TRISPEN (1)3 (Rapsey 44,63(pen),74)

It was'nt as flattering as the scoreline suggests!!! after a good start by trispen in the first 15 minutes, mullion went on to dominate the half playing down with the wind on a superb wendron pitch.they had several half chances and one golden chance to take the lead blastig over from 8 yards, and with that trispen took the lead against the run of play from a corner.although mullion's youngsters continued to play some cracking football, trispens more physical and direct approach to goal proved to be more prominent and it was 2-0 when the superb football league official mark 'charlie' philpott awarded a penalty for handball.the final goal was a far post volley and although mullion had at least 60/40 of the possession, trispen looked the more likely to add to their tally.both teams will meet again in div 2 next season where im sure mullion's youngsters will be pushing for promotion once again, and if mike can add a couple of new faces to the ageing trispen squad, they should not be too far away from challenging either.well done to Rob and mullion.been a credit to the division this year.

well done to trispen its a great result,

mullions performance was far from acceptable the whole game and that was the whole team. the first goal was my fault for leaving the best striker in the league unmarked. penalty was a dubious decision but after that we had to go for it and left 2 at the back for the last 20 mins. when trispens 3rd went in it was well and truly game over. i think in the long run it could be helpful to taste defeat in such a manner as normally when we play that bad against lower teams we come out with a result so i think we went into the game thinking we can win any game without much effort. we missed alot down the left wing with sam being suspended and had to play a righty out there oh well still good teams should be able to cope and we werent a good team yesterday.

credit to trispen on reaching both finals and doing well in the league. please try and lose one game boys we need a bit of silverware haha

i hope you go on to win both cups and the final weeks of the season are definately going to be very interesting!!!

Thanks lads.think it would probably be fair if all 3 teams won one each after the seasons they have had.mullion have led the way for a long time, and deservadly so.penryn are a great bunch of youngsters who if they stick together will go a long way.obviously we,ll do our best to win all 3 but to be honest with our injury list and those of us who are still playing with injuries it will be a miracle if we do!!! whatever happens, its been a really interesting and competitive season in our league.well done to all! :clapper:
