Wendron 1-5 St. Austell.

Well you were told wrong Tynan, it could not have been ten.

I myself watched the game and that is total bulls**t!

Admittedly, Snozzle deserved to win, especially with some of the football they played in the second half, but the first half was pretty even despite the 3-1 score line in Snozzles favour. The 2nd half was quite a boring affair, with both teams not really putting 110% in...But who can blame them...

Good luck to Snozzle on their quest for promotion...they are too good for this league with that side!

Have to agree with what Dronner has said above, the game was very even at 1-1, nothing between the sides really at all with Wendron defending against a strong wind and more than holding there own, then 2 quick fire goals not long before the half time whistle painted a bit of an unfair scoreline, especially as both goals may way well be deemed as mistakes when our stand in keeper maybe should have dealt with 2 shots better and pushed both efforts straight back out towards oncoming strikers instead of getting them wide and both were followed straight up into the net.

then not long after kick off for the second half St Austell go 4-1 up with a goal that was miles offside, the linesman flagged, then when the ref looked over he took his flag down!! Credit to the lad Body that tucked it away as he came over to our bench after he scored and said he was a mile offside! that really ended it as a game, St Austell played some nice football and scored a cracking 5th later on but aside from that our keeper didnt really have a great deal to do, so the 10 goal text that tynan got was not really accurate at all!

Best wishes to St Austell though for the remaining few games, played some tidy football and a good bunch , hopefully see you next season!
