Another top class performance from champoins Torpoint again yesterday, with Ricky using his squad giving the likes of Cardew,Duthie,Kershaw and the talented Hicks a well earned rest, racing into a 4 nil lead before the brake Torpoint played some great football the second half was a bit lackluster untill the introduction of Hicks who got himself on the scoresheet and then set up another for cardew,Torpoints other goalscorers were Thornton,Williams and Jago 2

Looking at the recent run of results Bere Alston must think they can put up a challenge next year. They certainly have shown Championship winning form for the last dozen or so games

Actually, we finished with one defeat in the last thirteen.

Could have snatched a point off Torpoint cause we had them on the rack for a spell at 2-2 and dean Cardew's winner came off the back of his neck, although to be fair in the first 30 minutes they ran us ragged.

Should have beaten Sticker at home..came back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 then conceded a dodgy penalty.

Missed a penalty and loads of chances in the away draw at Biscovey and likewise if we had converted our chances at St Stephen we'd have won that comfortably rther than draw 1-1.

Last 13 games:

Won 8, Drew 4, Lost 1 For 38 Against 20....28 pts from a possible 39.

When you consider it was Bere's first season ever in the Premier Division and that we had no points and were rock bottom after three games and were losing a lot of games 1-0, the lads have done remarkably well to turn things around.

If we can keep the squad together, add a couple and have a better start I'm hopeful that we'll be up there challenging for honours next season.......Plymouth Parkway will be another strong outfit to add to the mix as well.
