Note: From the SWPL website - news section "Update on Friday 1st May : Referees Reports have now been received and charges have been issued to St Austell under league rule 8.3, they now have a maximum of 14 days to respond to the charge."

Is anyone able to put that ruling on the forum so we can all read it ? With 14 days to appeal, the league table won't be finalised and prize money sorted until the rest of the clubs have finished their games.

In full, Rule 8.3 states:

"All matches shall be of ninety minutes' duration. Any match not complying may be ordered to stand as a completed match or replayed for the full period of ninety minutes or the match awarded to the club not at fault, as the Board may decide, on such terms as the Board shall decide. The half-time interval in all matches shall not exceed 15 minutes. Where a match is abandoned for reasons over which neither Club has control, the home Club shall retain the gate receipts of such uncompleted match and the Board shall decide the terms upon which any replayed match shall be played.

All claims for compensation shall be received by the Compeitition Secretary within 14 days of the date of the match to which the claim relates by either club.

(Where a match is abandoned because because of the conduct of one team or its club members the board shall be empowered to award the match to the opponents and fine them in accordance with the fine tarrif. Where an abandonment is caused by the conduct of both teams or their club members, the board will take such action as they consider appropriate and both shall be fined in accordance with the fines tarrif.)"

You should get a statue of Nanks put up in your clubhouse, if you had one, as he saved you from your arses being kicked in the senior cup.

I've heard Newquay are hoping to get a statue of The Judge put up in their clubhouse.

They believe that spending an evening with it may well be more interesting than having to endure the man himself.
