:yahoo: Mullion 1 v 2 Wendron Utd A.E.T. h/t 0-1 F/T 1-1 Fantastic game. end to end action

Wendron really took the game to Mullion. Carl Murphy (man of the match) played a blinder. saved a point

blank shot from mullion after 2 mins. then on 15 mins Adam KEENAN Put Wendron in front. put through

one on one. mullion keeper had a fantastic save. but Adam was switched on to latch on to the rebound to smash it in from 6 yards, 2 mins before half time. Adam keenan again crashed a shot off the crossbar

1-1 half time The second half mullion really went for it constantly bombarding the wendron goal. with Carl

Murphy having 3 first class saves. mullion finally got the rewards with a cheaky goal. the wendron lads stopped looking for what they thought was a free kick. But fair play to the Mullion midfielder chipped the ball over everyone into the net. for the goal the deserved. 1-1 game on. again end to end from both teams

in the end 1-1 extra time. anybodys game..........the extra time period Wendron got the break through they

deserved for there persiverance. ricky the hit man wicks came off the bench to snatch the victory. TO go through to the Semi Against the mighty Trispen. :yahoo::thumbsup::clapper:

great game both teams really going for it. mullion had a poor first half but we stepped up in the second. all mullion in the second half bombarding the goal. i have to say as a mullion player the wendron goalkepper was superb kept them in the match with some amazing saves in my opinion and everyone eles's man of the match defently. hats of to wendron for not putting there heads down and finding the winner not to sure on the celebration though. good game i personally hope wendron go on to win it well played lads.

Great result for Wendron, after all the hype that mullion have been giving themselves on here it was nice to see them get beaten, on their own ground as well!!

You could tell that they underestimated Wendron and it cost them!! :yahoo:

It was a great game but i think the wendron lads are giving themselves a bit to much credit, they had 2 shots and 2 goals not really end to end stuff. we just couldnt put it in the net with at least 4 clear cut chances. not the first time its happened this season, the draw at penryn coming to mind. its been the story of our last few weeks being on top for the whole game and not scoring nearly as many as we should.

oh well wendron do deserve a little credit though and their keeper was easily man of the match by a mile, i hope they now go on to win it

Your calculations two shots and two goals seem to leave out the fact that Wendron had more chances e.g the ball hitting the bar in the first half and last extra time period?

P.s I do think we gave ourselves to much credit, and not being arogant but we knew we could beat anyone in div 3 as could Mullion, Trispen, Cury
