Guest Uncle Albert
Ben Anniss gave Ivybridge a 14th minute lead which a belter from 30 yards. Nick Campbell equalised for Bodmin on the hour after good work by Steve Colwell and Luke Hodge. Danny O'Hagan hit the bar three minutes later, before Kevin Miller made a great save to deny Justin Crowley a 70th minute goal for Ivybridge. Mike Odgers
I see the report intensely slated the referee and described the attendance as disappointing considering the Championship Trophy was presented.
Guest Uncle Albert
Very poor crowd, hardly anyone in the grandstand if you took away the guests. The town of Bodmin simply doesnt support its football team, even though they are champions by a long way. The ref was Steve Nute, and he had a mare, I'm afraid. He doesnt like the advantage rule, and on one occasion he gave an offside decision standing in the centre circle, when his linesman, who was in line with play, waved play on. Refereeing is difficult but some of them bring problems on themselves. The best refs are still the ones you dont notice in a game.
The Villains
Great result for Ivybridge The Cup Final should be a cracker between Ivybridge v Bodmin.............. Maybe not as onesided as some people think it will be.....
Dave Deacon
Why should people think it will be one sided? After all, they are currently the top two in the league! :)
