Football on St Austell Bay Radio

Recommended Posts

I must congratulate Dave Deacon on another good show yesterday. Steve Massey proved a good studio guest and other contributors did their bit too.

Thanks too to Graham Walker for having the courage to allow it on untried and to Darren Kirwan who initiated it all in the first instance.

May it now be allowed to go from strength to strength and show Radio Rugby what they've missed.

Thanks for your kind words, and certainly a big thanks should go to all mentioned by you Chairman.

The Studio Guests that I have had in - Mark Rapsey, Glyn Rowett, Glyn Hooper and yesterday Steve Massey, have all been fantastic, and it's amazing how quickly the two hours goes! Certainly yesterday there was loads I wanted to ask Steve, but no time!

If anyone has suggestions for future guests - please let me know - either on here or by texting me on 07759 502408 or e-mailing davedeacon@cornishsoccer.info

The aim is to cover all levels of football, not just the top levels in the county.

Yesterday we heard from:

Toby Clark (Saltash United)

Ken Reed (at the Newton Abbot v Bodmin match)

Glyn Hooper (Penzance)

Alan Carey (Falmouth Town)

Darren Gilbert (Bodmin Town)

Glyn Rowett (St Austell)

Bob Dingle (Foxhole)

Dave Leonard (Plyouth Parkway)

Gary Tiffany (Torpoint Athletic)

Martin Hicks (Bodmin Saints)

And then there were others that unfortunately we couldn't get hold of on the phone!

Thanks for those who sent texts in.

For those that missed the programme, it is on again today at the same time - 5-7pm, via the station's website : Radio St Austell Bay

Take a listen and let me know what you want from the programme. If I get little response, well perhaps it's something that only a small few of us think is wanted, and we're kidding ourselves!
