4-4-2
Watched Bodmin v Torpoint today. It was a good game that was very tight in the 1st half. The 2nd half however was dominated by Torpoint who played football that not many teams could live with. With Torpoint's livewires Hicks, Kershaw and Avis-Riordan causing mayhem that no defence could deal with it was in fact Torpoint's Matthews, Cardew and Shepherd with the goals that secured the 3 points and leaves them with 2 more victories needed. Come On The Point!!!!!!!
Guest little dave
I went down myself today to watch with a mate from work. (chappy). First half was ok but the game exploded in the second half and was great to watch. who was the meathead torpoint brought on upfront?? he looked dangerous whenever the ball was near him. good game overall and the half time pasty was lovely!!! :)

Guest Paulo Porkchop
Dont think `muts` will get a start yet, torpoint got to many attacking players in front of the big fella to be named in the starting 11,but im sure he`ll play a major part in the run in. Guest radioman
You are right little dave, Mutley did used to play for Edgcumbe. He left them at the end of last season and went and joined Torpoint Athletic Duchy team in the Duchy Premier. Due to a lack of games (NOT BEING PICKED) and not getting along with the managment, he decided to leave! Also his lady was due to give birth at the time. Shorly after this he was signed by Ricky Cardew in the ECPL for the remainder of the season.

Guest edgcumbetillidie
As someone who has played with Matthew Williams (Mutley) for a few seasons at Edgcumbe, there is absoloutely no doubting that he could be playing at a higher level again. He is quick as hell, strong and got one hell of a shot on him. But the only thing stopping him is that he doesnt really have a football brain. He nneds to be told exactly what to do. Maybe Ricky Cardew or even the 1st team manger as stated above will get that out of him and he will gain a sense of where to be and at what time. But he is a goalscorer. He banged them in for fun at Edgcumbe and he got a few at Torpoint Duchy team aswell. Didnt take to kindly to being on the bench though. He was being kept out by Shannon and O'Neill at Edgcumbe so moved to Torpoint, where then I believe he was kept out by Stacey and Bates. So now he has moved up to Senior level, and maybe his temprament will mature a bit. All in all a great signing for Torpoint 2nds and he could play higher.
