Adlestrop Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 There has been much conjecture recently regarding Porthleven and Bodmin spurning possible promotion;yet receiving prizemoney should they become Champions.I am in full agreement with most contributors that no money should be awarded. However,I believe this unsatisfactory situation would be avoided by a simple Rule change from the CSWL. A rule could(should) state simply:"PRIZEMONEY WILL BE AWARDED ONLY TO CLUBS WHO ARE PROMOTED" This might in some small way help that Club towards additional expence commensurate with promotion. I noticed Mark Hayman reading the Porthleven topic for ages but he offered no response. Hopefully he or someone in authority will do at some point as i'm interested in what the thoughts of the league are.
