Mr.T
I went to watch Truro v Penzance last night, the three officials were from Plymouth, why? Apparently their expences came to £97. With this sort of appointing is it any wonder some smaller clubs struggle financialy. Surely the leagues and FA should look at more sensible appointments. :SM_carton:
Mike Odgers
I know referees expenses for last Saturday's SWPL game Falmouth Town v Cullompton Rangers went into three figures. The referee Mr. Larry Cousins on a 'jolly' from Barnstaple.
Dave Deacon
No problem with the distance of the other two officials though Mike : Assistants:Michael Carter (Camborne) and Justin Moses (Falmouth)
B Manning
I think you would find that all 3 officials from Plymouth all travelled together so there would have only been one lot of travel expenses.
Guest Postie Pidge
£101 for a referee and not a brilliant one at that. When one costs that much it's irrespective where the others come from
Spider
Do referees get a fixed amount for a game + travelling or is it set at X amount per mile??
Guest Postie Pidge
Referees in the Premier League are £30 per game and the two assistants are £20 each. That's £70 without the mileage and I think Saturday was Falmouth's most costly set of three (definitely this season) but possibly last season as well
