Guest The Judge aka RED OR DEAD Posted March 11, 2009 Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 NEWQUAY AFC 2 v 1 Dobwalls Robbo in the first half, Dobwalls equalised 1-1 HT Scott Palmer on as a sub, blasted home from 18 yards in the 94th min sending the majority of Mount Wise into raptures. The pitch suffered last night and the rain/drizzle all day made it heavy going in places, Dobwalls worked Newquay hard for the whole 96 mins (an injury and 5 subs added 6 mins). Both sides rarely got to grips with the surface and misplaced passes were the order of the day. However, it was The Peppermints who created the few real chances with Dobwalls happy to sit back and hit Newquay on the break. I'm sure others will give a better report, I'm still buzzing after grabbing 3pts very late on to keep the promotion dream alive. Dobwalls to their credit, probably the best side to have visited Mount Wise this season, will be gutted to have lost but they didn't create enough going forward and eventually got hit by a Scotty special.
