st.ives 1-3 halsetown

halsetown win probably the right result, st ives had the better of a close first half and were 1-0 up at the break after an own goal from the halsetown defender, and had a goal disalowed for a push on the keeper, and another with a ridiculous offside decision, halsetown also had one disallowed after a dubious offside call. 2nd half halsetown came out much stronger and got back in it from a steve hoskings half volley from inside the area, then a great goal from lawrence kennedy putting them 2-1 up , st ives came back into it and missed a few chances to equalise before a goalkeeping mistake gave halsetown their 3rd to kill the game off.

well contested game spoil by a referee giving a free kick for every tackle, a few needless yellow cards and was giving the decision to the first side to appeal

hate to say it but overall halsetown win probably the right result
