I'm not normally one for using words like "cheat" or "biased" when it comes to referees, but today I might make an exception because we were robbed of three points by some disastrous officiating.

Three penalty calls went against us, the second of which the referee was going to give as a free kick, but waved it away when he realised it was in the box - absolutely shocking!!

We were the better side on the day but once again failed to take our chances.

Our winless run has now stretched for two months - surely the longest in the club's history.

My first visit to Rangers - lovely little club, very friendly. Cheesy chips very good :)

Est attendance today was 70 (25 from St Blazey)

A long 190.8 mile round trip today. St Blazey took an early lead and should have made it 2 but for a weak Danny Zallick effort. Rangers came back and made it 1-1. St Blazey had excellent penalty shouts at the end of the first and end of the second half. Neither given. When Rangers scored today, you could have heard a pin drop!! Weird.

Crowd around 66.

About 27 from St Blazey.

Guest Peppermint

I was at the Wadebridge Town v Elburton Villa match yesterday and although I am sure the Bridgers will be disappointed dropping two points to a side anchored at the foot of the table I thought Elburton looked a better outfit than their league table position indicates. With someons like Lee Harvey up front they are always going to be dangerous.

Goal scorers - Wadebridge - Grills and Chapman, Elburton - Harvey and Hughes.

think vospers will finish above millbrook now, they seem to be improving, and baptist, your right an excellent result yesterday for you bunch. we went down again at Godolphin, terrible ten minutes again, another sending off, poor defending, lack of firepower and two key players stretchered of with injurys. (youngsters thackeray and mcshane). likely to miss a large chunk of the remaining games. to add to this, we have dean webb suspended, robinson going travelling, and digby leaving because of the way he was treated, leaving only two defenders available at the club. no real threat up front, players dont seem interested or determined, no talking on the pitch and no leader in the ranks now digby has left. we will finish bottom. frustrating but it will happen, be suprised if eleven players can be fielded in the coming weeks with injurys and suspensions. bad times.

it looks like the club are backing Bunney all the way, and hes aparently arranging friendlies already and getting in players for next year already. his assistant at the minute is ryan swiggs, he is going to take over the east cornwall team which is going to be started up next year. so who bunney will get in to be his assistant remains to be seen. many players would love to come and play at mill park, however they are put off by the manager, thats the view of many of the current squad i talk to. nobody seems to want to play for the man. But the answer to your question is yes he will remain there next year, a wise move....im not so sure!!! whats going to happen at vospers pre-season?

Sounds like their confident of being excepted for Ecpl!!!!!

There have been 9 applications i believe and i dont think Millbrook are anywhere near favourites to be excepted!!!!!

Especially the way they have treated Edgcumbe. I believe a lot of clubs that will have the right to vote are not impressed with the treatment of Edgcumbe.

As for the standard of football,if the 1st team are that bad what sort of standard are this new team gonna bring to the Ecpl????

Alot of negatives already!!

alot of this seasons side will play in the ecpl, and would probably do reasonably well if i was honest. however bunney seeks new faces to join his first team. if on a vote then yes you are right, millbrook wont be selected. as an outsider from our club- how do you see mr bunney guys?

well big toni- are you the assistant manager at liskeard....if you are....just a kind reminder of the fact that millbrook actually knocked your guys out of the cup! sure they would be fine playing in ECPL

League table doesnt lie. Millbrook isnt the place it was and only having the right manager will attract the right players, which obviously isnt working at the moment.

There is enough quality around the local area and a local manager would possibly attract them back to a club that should be doing better.

Playing or managing your local team brings a bit more passion and want to a team, which also brings supporters and income to the club.

Just a thought!!!

Falmouth V Witheridge

The first half there was very little to choose between the two teams, both very poor teams < Witheridge seemed to be the team who were better organised,

the second half started off very much like the first, but again Falmouth never took their chances & Witheridge did, & slowly but surely they took control of the game,

On this perfoprmance it will take Falmouth all of thier time trying to prevent themselves from going down,

But I am sure that Alan is aware of this & will I am sure sort out things for next season.

PS I was pleased to see that Falmouth have started to make ground improvements, well done

Paul,

the slope going down beside the hole in the wall, a wide area against the wall has been dug out & filled will gravel, this was always a very slipery slope to walk on, at the bottom all inside the gate where there was always a lot of mud has been cleared & filled with gravel, & it looks as if they may well be going to do the path towards the centre shelter,

I hope that by the begining of next season at least that the will repair the roofs to the end shelters,

but at least they have made a start which has to be good.

Hammers :thumbsup::c::yahoo::c: :c:
