Tomorrow's Game At Blaize Park

If you can actually get to St Blazey with the roads in the East of Cornwall being a bit dodgy at the moment, I'm sure that Mr Chairman will ensure the pitch is in good order. No real bad weather down St Austell/Newquay way since Monday night. A minutes silence or applause will no doubt be observed before kick off.

Just tiny bits of rain and snow here today, but nothing significant. I expect the game to be on, but will be keeping an eye on the excellent SWPL postponement forum in the morning.

Looking forward to seeing you and your krazy gang at Blaise Park tomorrow, NDD. It's a bit of a fortress at the moment; we're unbeaten in 2009 :c:

St Blazey 1-1 Witheridge.

Att: 65ish (2 from Witheridge?)

A fair result this as Withy shaded the first half, but St Blazey were stronger in the second. The Blazey boys will be disappointed to have not closed out the match after deservedly getting ahead through a fantastic Danny Zalick goal. They conceded a soft goal soon afterwards and Witheridge resisted the late Blazey pressure to hold on for a draw.
