CORNWALL REFEREES V LISKEARD VETS

IT WILL BE WORTH THE ENTRANCE MONEY AS THE LIST OF PLAYERS FOR LISKEARD VETS IS VERY IMPRESSIVE. IN ADDITION, YOU CAN WATCH YOUR FAVOURITE INFAMOUS REF TAKING A REAL HAMMERING FROM DARREN GILBERT !

Many thanks for the offers of help with the memorial day, prizes etc, looks like we should be able to raise a decent sum of money!

If anyone would like to contribute to the charities (McMillan nurses and Cancer research UK) in memeory of Tony, or donate some prizes for the raffle please feel free to contact me on 07701048399

Thanks again for all calls, texts and pledges of raffle prizes for sundays game. The Cornish Times have let us down with advertising I believe so if anyone reading this could spread the word we would be grateful. If you have nothing else to do on Sunday come to Lux park, there is colts rugby, senior cup rugby, hockey and of course, the long awaited men in black versus Liskeard vets so something for everyone.

I hear a nasty rumour that celebrations will still be going on in liskeard very late................................

Great game (bit teasy for a couple of mins) great turn out, some classic goals, some wonderful decisions by all 19 refs and £1,500-00 raised in 6 hours with a few more bits and pieces to come. We will get details into the press for all to see but just a quick vote of thanks to all involved with a superb fund raising event.

More info to follow.
