kempy
St Ives 2 - 3 Perranwell. A good entertaining game with the visitors going 2 nil up and playing some good football and deserved to be ahead both scored by the hardworking Jake Harvey, but St Ives pulled one back in injury time just before the break with the evergreen Andy Trathen finishing off a fine move down the right flank. St Ives pressed with the elements behind them and were awarded a penalty which the ref gave for a foul near the 18 yard line then after consulting the linesman seemed to award a free kick outside the box but the outcome was a well placed spotkick from Darren Steadman. The majestic Dave Fisher tweeked the Perranwell formation and they started to push St Ives back and got the winner 10 minutes from time with a tremendous strike from Steve Brewer which was fitting to win any match. A hard fought game with respect from both teams towards each other which showed after the final whistle!! Well done :c:
