gillo10 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 The FA say they can not do anything regarding Morgan/Hume alledged elbowing, they say there is not enough evidence. Emerson Boyce of Wigan is serving a ban for 2 yellow cards for good tackling, the FA can not recind these even though the ref says he made a mistake. You also have Aliadiere of Boro serving 4 games last season for doing a scousers hair then appealing! Are our FA really living on the same planet as anyone else!? Shambles!
Guest Sport Lover Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I dont think its an FA thing I saw on Sky Sports Fifa have instructed the FA they cant change the orginal desicion by the ref. It could become a criminal matter though if th eplayer or club concerned wanted it to be.
Guest football mad Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I hope he proceeds, Morgan is a thug
Coopsie Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I hope he proceeds, Morgan is a thug Couldn't agree more. To think the punishment he received for that assault was the same as a player would get for removing his shirt after scoring a goal. .. The FA (or whoever makes the rules) are incompetent butt plugs.
Guest Magpie29 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Totally agree - sums up the FA. Bunch of muppets.
somersetspur Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Agree with everyones comments so far, with the Iain Hulme incident. It is true that FIFA have a big say over it. The F.A Have'nt got the balls to stand up against them, because you know why. England want to stage another World Cup on these shores, end of story.
Deano Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Reports on the news in Yorkshire are saying Hume has been rushed back into hospital today. Morgan is a shithouse and always has been, hope Hume gets the old bill in or takes legal action.
midfield Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 He needs to take legal action. It's the only way to stop thuggery such as this. You wouldn't get away with it on the street - you'd end up inside.
Guest Peppermint Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Sums up the useless and inept FIFA regime as well as the toothless English FA. Anything that involves people like Blatter and his mate Platini are bound to be totally wrong.
Guest Magpie29 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Hume has been discharged from hospital today which is good news. BBC Sport are quoting Sheff Utd assistant manager: "We think people have made a little bit more of it than they should have." Don't think many on this forum would agree with that.
sammo 66 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 i never thought i would see a post where midfield and somersetspur agreed with each other . next step engagement

Guest Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 It was obvious when it was first shown that this was one of the most cowardly acts ever witnessed on a football field. And to hear Warnock say that it was clear Hume ran on to Morgans elbow beggars belief. I have always felt that the police should stay out of football but I'm sorry this is a time they should intervene The guitless FA must also have a charge to answer. How can they possibly say they did not have enough evidence. For christ sake the guy could have died and god forbid he may still do. If a referee didn't have a clear view etc that is fair enough. They cant see everything but for the sake of Hume his family and for football he takes Morgan to court and I hope he gets jail time. This was an attack on a defenceless player who should have the protection of the FA and quite frankly the law of the land.
somersetspur Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Thats it Pal,our cover has been sprung.

I've seen some injuries in my time but this one sickens me.
midfield Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Just read that one. Couldn't have put it better myself.
