What a great video. That will teach him. I thought a player had to be a certain distance from the touchline when a throw in is being taken. I'm surprised the match officials didn't spot it.

I saw a Devon player do that in the Cornwall vs Devon South West Counties Championship at St Blazey a few years ago - when we won!

Didn't watch the video, but I think you've got to be at least 2 yards or something from the touchline!

Coopsie I do believe you are correct.

And so are you St Darren. You have to be standing at least two metres away from the point of the throw-in. Probably to stop situations like this and also any confrontation when a player stands right on the touchline.

Can't remember which but one of the ladies players for either Brazil or Argentina takes all her throw-ins like that. I thought I was seeing things when I first saw it :wacko:
