Now we just sit back and wait for the "so you beat a shite croatian team" rubbish to start appearing on here. ..

FACT for Mangle and midfield, We WON, you DIDN'T..

Good little showing by Bostock aswell. Unlucky not to score with a sweet left foot strike.

Oh it's good to be a Yiddo again. I'm even starting to think we may get some more valuable point(s) against Man City

i wish i had come on here earlier on tonight then i could have watched us as well. :(

instead i have had to watch the man city & villa games.

after watching city i think we stand a chance of getting something out of the game as although they seem to score a few goals they always look like conceding as well.should be an entertaing game.

anyway back to tonight :D really pleased we won tonight & good to play well from what ive heard.

wasn't really interested in this or any of the other cups a few weeks ago but how times have changed.

good old harry 3 wins & a draw, life is good again

But it's a competition for non-Champions League teams, however much they have tried to repackage it!

Sounds like you'll enjoy playing in it next season then, well assuming your boys can scrape 5th in the league or win a domestic cup!! ;)

We'll still be in the Champions League - I doubt you'll be in Europe at all.

You can watch us on telly!

Well fellow Yids,it is great to be a Spurs supporter, playing well ,winning and scoring goals.

But this Arry thing has got to hit a hitch at sometime.

So although I think we are going in the right direction. My prediction is only 2 wins from the next 3 games.

Man.City[away],Liverpool[home,Carling Cup],Fulham[away].

Before I go.I have a intresting FACT for Mangle.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are the only 2 clubs to win a trophy in each decade since the

Football League was formed.

Midfield, you said, you were a clever Gooner. Then you say 4rsen4l in Champions League next season.

Well, I'm going back to supporting Arsenal. At least they don't lose 4 nil!!

Good win for Spurs, and Man City and Villa. I know the Arsenal failed to score on Wednesday, but the last 3 Champions League games have seen us score 9 and concede 2. Not bad. And we are still top of that group. We also beat that outfit "Twente" 6 nil on aggregate at the start of the Champions League, whilst City squeezed a 3-2 win last night. I watched that game, and it was a cracker. End to end.

In all seriousness, after watching the City game last night, with the Spurs game against them coming up, that could be a beauty. City look good going forward, but suspect at defending, whilst Spurs are riding the crest of the Redknapp wave at the moment. A case of goals galore perhaps? I can't call that one.

I think Utd will beat Arsenal. I'd love to be on here saying that I am confident that Arsenal will do them, but I'm not. Arsenal are in the doldrums at the moment, and I'd be happy with a draw. We need to get through the rough patch relatively unscathed. There are some difficult matches coming up for us before, and over the Christmas period. I think the quality in the side is there to weather the storm. Time for them to start earning their money.

Nice fact Mr. 'Spur. I like that one.

I've got another one for you....Arsenal are the longest consecutive running team in the highest English league, been there since 1919 I believe.

Mangle, that is the first post from you that has'nt had a go at us Yids, plus not really to confident about

your own team.

Come on mate, happy with a draw against Utd.Thats not the attitude.

Your manager reckons you are not out of the race. What race,Im not sure.

I dont want any negative Gooners, because who else can I take the p--- out of.?

Do I sense a shift of power in North London.?

I'm not always having a go at spurs (just most of the time)! I have said several times that I think you'll easily stay up and that you are not involved in, and will not enter, a relegation dog fight.

Being happy with a draw against Utd is not good I admit. I'll be ecstatic if we win of course, but I think Utd are in good form, better than ours anyway! It's not a dead cert, the odd goal will probably win it, hopefully in our favour.

E.I E.I E.I.O, Up the Premier League we go.

Who would have thought it,before that Bolton game we would get 10 points from Bolton[home],4rsen4l[away],Liverpool[home],and Man City[away].

AMAZING.This is League winning form.

I dont know what Arry is doing, but keep it going my son.

Simple task of Liverpool's 2nd team on Wednesday, then Fulham on Saturday.

Could be top half of the table next week with 3 more points.

Yes, I agree you are doing well.

Must be the confidence factor.

League winning form - now don't get too carried away!

Well,you know what I mean.

Not saying we will win the League.

The first 8 games, and only 2 points made sure of that.

I just can't believe the transformation.

These same players were pants under Ramos.

Couldn't agree more.

Wonder what his secret is - must be worth a fortune by now.

Not picking Bale???

Harry, Harry, Harry! Just when we'd got some kind of momentum going, what'cha go and do.....

You picked him in a league game.... and true to form, the walking jinx that is Gareth Bale kept his run intact!

Instead of bringing in Les Ferdinand & Tim Sherwood to do some coaching, he should've got Eileen Drewery in to break the curse of Gareth Bale in the Premier League!!

I have to agree about Bale. I thought he was a good player but he now runs around like a headless chicken. His performance in Europe when they lost I think 3-0 was about the worst I have ever seen from a professional footballer.

Thanks Mark C mate :clapper: .. As you said, "we can't win them all". As long as we keep stopping those Gooners, The Mancs and the Blues from winning, I've no doubt you'll be happy bud? ;)
