The scoring started as early as the 9th minute when Shaun Quinn turned on the ball just outside the penalty area and hit a superb shot into the top corner of the net.Three minutes later the Aggie keeper made a fine save but,when the resultant corner came in,it was sliced into the net for an own goal.Play was fairly even for the remainder of the half although Hayle keeper Dennis Fallowfield had to make a full length save to keep out a low shot.

Both sides enjoyed passages of play through the second half with the only goal coming with Shaun Quinn scoring from the penalty spot in the 70th minute after Lee Norman was tripped.

Matt Williams outstanding for Aggie and Shaun Quinn just about shaded Dave Cooper as Hayle's top player.

Western Inn won 7-2 against Godolphin

Rumours are that Western Inn have a very good team.

Should make next Sunday's meeting of Hayle VB and Western Inn at Hayle in the Porthminster Cup an interesting match.
