Local Footie fan Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Anyone know full time score. Heard it was 2.0 Bodmin with about 20 minutes to go.
Guest Uncle Albert Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Yes, the full time score was 2-0. Luke Hodge (50) and Steve Ovens (58) were scorers.
Paul Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Is anyone gone stop Bodmin winning the title this year??
Guest Uncle Albert Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Well, they have got a strong squad. Tonight they included second team players Nick Dowling and Dave Mullis in their starting line-up, and still looked strong. They had Johnny Morris and Danny O'Hagan on the bench too. Falmouth didn't look like a bottom of the table side. But for three excellent Kevin Miller saves, they would have got some reward for their play.
Guest Postie Pidge Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 If games were based on the first two minutes, we would be ok! Falmouth didn't take their chances but Bodmin didn't have it easy. Some strange refereeing decisions but Bodmin have a quality team and experienced players who are damn hard to beat
Local Footie fan Posted October 23, 2008 Author Report Posted October 23, 2008 I think there are glimses of Falmouth improving slightly. Like tonight if we had played this Bodmin team on the first day of the season i expect Falmouth would have lost ten nil. But tonight a respectable defeat against a very strong Bodmin team. i do think Saturday is a, must not lose game, However this will be very tough as Launceston are a very good team. Did Adam Weston turn up tonight? Looking at the table Falmouth have moved off the bottom of the league on goal difference! Perhaps the bottom six teams are relegation candidates this season? All to play for! Up the Town!
