Great result for us at Wendron today for our first win of the season in what was a very physical game at times to say the least! Good to get the first 3 points on the board for Winno as well, not having much luck at Wendron either which doesnt help, 3 serious injuries in the last 4 games, Keeper broke his arm, following week defender broken collerbone and today we lost the returning Mike Newbury after bout 10 minutes with a depressed fracture of the cheekbone which will require surgery on monday to pull it back into place, so after going a goal down today a great true grit battling performance to pull the win out the bag, hopefully the confidence will be back a bit now and we can push on and wishing a speedy recovery to all our injured players, i picked a good season to retire and become physio!!!
