David Bray
Suffered a bad injury, could be ligament damage. Fortunately after prolonged treatment , the local paramedics gave him the all clear to remain at the ground, but he's on crutches at the moment, really glad both his parents were there at the time. some 'scribes' are under the impression that these trips are a 'jolly' but when you are responsible for teenagers as i and my colleges were this weekend it can be at times, like with Ben, quite a worrying situation. Guest Peppermint
Hope the injured player is soon back playing again. Great result David and well done to Tommy and the team. Nice to see our own Aarron Bicknell scored the winner - a great prospect who has played very well for Newquay First Team this season. I don't think people appreciate the committment that you and Tommy etc put in for the County Youth Team. Keep up the good work and hopefully the Youth Team will have a successful season. Jimbo
Well done to Tommy and the boys. Sounds like a really exciting game. Pleased for Aaron to score the late winner. I got a text off him straight after the game and I could tell how delighted and proud he was. Keep it up for the rest of the season.

budetownfcbicks
"Cornwall's Hopcroft then took centre stage, scoring with opportunist strikes on 65 and 67 minutes to put the visitors in the driving seat once more." Very good to hear and also Liam Sandercock performing well. Keep it up boys.
Common Tater
All this correspondence about Cornwall's thrilling match. Surely everyone was kept up to date by local radio on the day?
dgllfan
It's nice to hear inquiries about individuals, how did "The Team" do??
David Bray
A friend of mine reckoned that Radio Cornwall gave out the result as Cornwall won by 4 goals to 3. There was no contact on Saturday as far as i was aware , previously Dave Deacon and myself would keep in touch, but i can't be bothered to contact people who don't have the knowledge to understand what the competition is all about.
