A depleted Falmouth were a well beaten side as they crashed to their heaviest ever F.A.Vase defeat and will however look into their defensive qualities.

A Complete misunderstanding between the keeper and Hawke after 10 mins saw the latter roll the ball into an empty net.

21mins Symons parried a shot onto the head of the on rushing Pearse.

23mins Drummond gathered ball in the area before reversing his shot back low into the corner for his debut Town goal.

24 min the ball was pinged into the Town defence leaving Pearse to react and run in unopposed

47min the classic own goal as Rawlings sliced a Street free kick past his static keeper.

52min Some ingenuity from Matt Moore crossed for the wing back Hawke to time his run and head past the on coming keeper.(also his debutant goal)

80min and 89min conceded two cheap goals from Martin Pople wide on the left (one a cross ) found the far corner for a disappointing finale.

Falmouth were overwhelmed in midfield but did score twice from only about four attempts.

All in all Paul it was an enjoyable day.

After 10 minutes the 'writing was on the wall' so chilled out with a pint of bitter in good company of Steve Massey, Phil H'(SWPL) and Suzie the secretary(colours Gold and Amber stripes?) plus all the other travelling Town folk.

All in brilliant sunshine.

The Street hosts were friendly and made welcome with refreshments at half time also very respectful considering the defeat.

Travelled to Taunton after hoping to see a new second grandchild but alas the birth is running late-this ended a superb holiday in Shaldon where I managed to visit Dawlish Town(WLP),Ottery St.Mary(SWPLE1)(my first visit) and Crediton United(SWPLE1)

Paul how is life with your new arrival?-See you Friday 17th. October at Bickland v St.Blazey in the cup.
