Prediction League Table 14th September 2008

Well, what a funny league this is for predictions. Since the last posted league table - 30th August - 'THE OLD MAN' sat proud at the top. Just after that, IAN hit top spot. Now, ECPL, a hardy player who has done well over the past few seasons, was in second spot.

With the league as it is, a disastrous 2 from 9, last weekend, saw ECPL plummet to 10th place! Then, during the mid-week matches, we saw POSTIE PIDGE take over at the top.

Then that brings us to this weekend, another topsy-turvy week for results.

Matches you would put your life savings on (well maybe) don't come out as expected. What is happening in this league? No one is really doing great at present. Top man this weekend was PORKER with 6 from 9, but we see a new man at the top 'THE STIG' has hit the top of the table, over the COMMON TATER in second.

MARK C has been removed from the table - no predictions for weeks, with ALLFORONE1889 shown a yellow card and has suffered a 2 point deduction. Poor old JOHNNIE BATES is a little marooned at the bottom, but early days yet. JOHN THE BAPTIST finds himself in unchartered waters - another highflyer of recent seasons, but finds himself down there with yours truly.

Such is the swing of movement in this league. The PIDGE after hitting top spot, now finds himself back 7th place.

What is good about this league is we are seeing quite a few people hit the top - but where will you be at Christmas?
